Wedding Showcase at Eastwell Manor Kent
Located in the heart of the Kent, Eastwell Manor is a stunning, elegant manor house and formal Royal residence. Set in 3,000 acres, the 11th-century country house is the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous wedding and I absolutely jumped at the chance to photograph their latest Wedding Showcase featuring some of their best loved suppliers. With a dedicated team of wedding planners and a licence for Civil Marriage ceremonies, their wedding facilities include three beautiful oak panelled reception rooms and an Italian garden gazebo. The weather wasn’t on our side for an outside ceremony setup but the styling inside was simply stunning.
The concept and vision was that of Holly from Locate to Create. The dark wooden panelled Rose Garden Room was used for wedding breakfast styling and included a long table and a top table with amazing gypsophila cloud installed by Emily and Me Florist. The Bishop of Bayeux room was set up simply but beautifully for the ceremony styling with a line of tulips as a feature on the grand fireplace. Ascend the grand staircase, dressed with gold balloons, leading you to the Bridal suite and you’ll find the quite beautiful copper bath and I couldn’t leave it out of the shoot.
Here is little from Holly about her vision:
‘Eastwell Manor is a truly historic gem in the Kent countryside and completely compliments our products and theming. The rich dark wood panelling of the rose garden room harmonised beatifically with our rustic trestle tables creating elegant grandeur through the banquet like arrangement. We drew styling inspiration from pink and nude soft colourings but also wanted to introduce a modern twist through the more contemporary glass and tableware. The styling aimed to challenge conventional perceptions of Boho and modern, proving it can be used in unison with amazing effect. For us, our large trestle tables brought the whole vision together. With the venue and modern styling items providing contrasting themes, the deep dark mature wooden trestle tables linked the two visions perfectly, creating a simply stunning spectacle.’
I hope you enjoy the images. Here is a list of the suppliers involved in the shoot. I would highly recommend them all. Their work is stunning and I can’t wait to work with them again at the next wedding there.
