Unique Kent Wedding Venue – The Winding House
Engaged couples looking for a stunning, unique, spacious, light venue for their Kent Wedding need not look any further than The Winding House. Easily accessible, just off the A2 yet secluded and private, it is a former victorian coal mining building. It is over 100 years old but with its neutral, white decoration and high open spaces, it feels contemporary whilst still keeping hold of its industrial past. I couldn’t wait to visit this gorgeous building to see it for myself and it didn’t disappoint.
It is surrounded with stunning countryside and there is a real ‘wow’ when you get close enough to sense the height and uniqueness of the building. The interior is just as individual. The ceremony space, accessed by walking across a bridge no less, is a wedding photographers dream with natural light streaming in from the large windows and the white decor acting like huge reflectors. It is a stunning wedding ceremony space as it is but its simple decoration means it is a blank canvas for anyone wishing to make it their own for their Wedding. With a separate dining room off of the ceremony area and the lower level of the building used for your evening entertainment, it really does have everything you need for the most fantastic celebration of your marriage.
This gorgeous Kent wedding venue can cater for 100 day guests and an extra 50 evening guests and real thought has been given to the service thats included in your Wedding package with a complimentary mini bus service available to shuttle your guests to their nearby hotels so it really can be a great and worry free party!
