‘ Keep it simple and don’t do things just because other people think you should!’

100%, I couldn’t agree more. That is the advice that Jade and Davina would give future couples planning their weddings and we are clearly on exactly the same page. This must be the reason that I had such a great time working with these two. They were just as chilled out and giggly on their wedding day as they were on their woodland pre wedding shoot and that made my job as their wedding photographer so enjoyable.

I loved the styling at their wedding which was held at The Bull Hotel in Wrotham; a wonderful Kent Wedding Venue. As you entered the Buttery, you were welcomed by a gorgeous sign by Kate at @clevergirlcalligraphy, complimented perfectly with lots of details and accessories all of which had been made by Davina herself. I loved the use of the ribbons on the back of the rustic chairs from Locate to Create. The flowers were gorgeous too and I fell in love with Davina’s wrist corsage. In fact, both Jade and Davina looked stunning!

We had been worried in the week approaching their wedding that Storm Hannah was going to be an unwelcome guest but she left Kent early and whilst it was a little breezy, it was bright but overcast, my favourite light for portraits. One very welcome guest however, was little Bruno. Oh my goodness, he was so handsome with his floral collar and such a good boy all day. Oh and then there were the children at their Wedding. They were all so nice natured and had such a great time. AND they were happy to be photographed which doesn’t always happen at weddings I can assure you.
