Kent Golf Club Wedding

I knew when I first met Leigha to chat about her Kent Wedding at The London Golf Club, that it was going to be a good one. When she told me about the proposal, I also knew that it was going to be packed with emotion. During a trip to Disneyland Paris,  Bradley had arranged a surprise trip to The Eiffel Tower and popped the question. It was a year and one day til they married and my goodness, there were so many highlights.

Bradley was one of the most emotional Grooms I have photographed. I LOVE an emotional Groom but it really tests me because it makes me want to cry too. Shooting with teary eyes isn’t easy you know. The weather wasn’t on our side that day but we did manage to get a few portraits on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous course and we made the most of the stunning backdrop of the Great Hall too. The speeches were just as testing for this soppy photographer. Bradley used to be in Army and video messages from his friends, unable to make the ceremony as they were still serving away from home were played during the Best Man’s speech. Wow, it was so touching and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. In complete contrast, there were tears of laughter after dinner when the couple were surprised with singing waiters. They were fantastic fun, as you can see from the photographs. Not everyone had the stamina for it though. You might catch the image of Leigha and Bradleys daughter Myah, completely asleep, tucked behind the top table. Bless her, how she managed it with the noise level I have no idea. I loved their choice of First Dance song too. ‘Is that Alright?’ by Lady Gaga from a Star is Born. What a track and the emotion between the two of them when they looked in each others eyes on the dance floor was just gorgeous.

I hope you like some of my favourites from their gallery. You will find a list of the fantastic suppliers involved in their day at the end. If you think that your wedding might make me cry as much as Leigha and Brads did, get in touch. I want to be there.
