Autumnal Wedding with burgundy florals at The Bull Hotel

I still remember when I received the enquiry from Claire about her Wedding to David, it sounded amazing. At the Bull Hotel, a fabulous boutique venue just around the corner from me, in autumn and with a rich, warm, burgundy colour palette. Perfect.

I was even more excited that they booked an engagement shoot too and after meeting them I just knew their day was going to be a memorable one. Any couple that are willing to chase the sunset halfway across Lullingstone Country Park with me are wonderful in my eyes!

Their wedding day did not disappoint. It was relaxed, fun and FULL of smiles and laughter but not only that, it looked gorgeous. Claire is a florist and her work was stunning. The colours worked so well in the rustic setting of The Buttery; warm, inviting and sumptuous. But she also added beautiful floral elements to the table plan table and steps leading to the Buttery which really elevated the styling.

As for their wedding ceremony … well there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It took everything I had not to really cry when looking past Claire I could see her daughter in tears, a little overwhelmed with emotion being looked after by her big brother. It really was a ceremony for their whole, gorgeous family. So special.

They really did smash the wedding portraits too. Having spent time with them before the wedding during their engagement shoot, they knew exactly what they were going to be like and were completely relaxed with both being in front of my camera but also with spending time with me. They loved their engagement shoot images so completely trusted me to do a great job for them during their wedding. Having an engagement shoot is a surefire way to being more relaxed on your wedding day.

Because they were so relaxed, you can really see the chemistry between them and in some of their wedding portraits, they seemed completely lost in the moment. Oh my goodness, I loved working with them.

Here are a list of the suppliers that helped make their day so special for them and then take a look at their gorgeous gallery.
