It’s always very exciting when an enquiry drops into my mailbox for a wedding venue I haven’t shot at before. When I read the enquiry for the wedding of Louise and Jim for The Secret Garden, a stunning venue tucked away in the Mersham Le Hatch Estate that had been on my wish list for a while, I actually did a little happy dance. The wedding was to be a small, intimate ceremony and to be relaxed and fun and it definitely ticked my boxes.

The big day did not disappoint. The simple colour palette for the stunning flowers of just white and green dressed the gazebo beautifully and my goodness, did it complement the Glasshouse, chosen for their wedding breakfast of Afternoon Tea. Louise looked stunning and I’m not sure she stopped smiling all day. She was walked down the aisle by her daughters Jess and Beth and it was touching to see a very glassy eyed Jim when he saw her for the first time. They were a truly lovely couple, with wonderful family and close friends with them to witness their marriage, it was a fantastic day to be a part of.
