Awwwwww these two! I would like to introduce you to Wendy and Leigh, two of the loveliest ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting. I first chatted to them at a Wedding Open Day at The Bull Hotel, Wrotham and instantly knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. They have been together for 22 years and are finally going to tie the knot, now that’s some build up! I will have to wait til early next year for the Wedding but in the mean time I got to wander around Shorne Country Park, Kent for their engagement shoot.

Engagement shoots are a great way to get to know each other before the wedding. After all, as the wedding photographer, I get the best seat in the house all day long so I think it’s really important to understand what’s important to my couples and for them to feel comfortable with me around. The venue choice for the engagement shoot can be a really personal one too. Wendy and Leigh chose this country park as it’s where they used to walk their dogs. We were blessed with gorgeous, low, autumn sunshine and I learnt so much about them and their plans for the day. It’s going to be a good one!
