A True Family Wedding Celebration
After ten years together, Kirstin and Jamie finally celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Secret Garden in Ashford, Kent. Their day was made even more special by the fact that family and friends had travelled from six different countries to be there, creating a truly international celebration filled with joy, laughter and connection.
With guests making the journey from around the world, every part of the day felt meaningful. It was a wonderful reminder of how weddings bring people together, no matter the distance.
A Private First Look at The Secret Garden
Before their guests arrived, Kirstin and Jamie chose to share a private first look in the Glasshouse. These moments are always incredibly special, but this one felt particularly emotional.
Away from the excitement of the day, they were able to see each other for the first time, take a moment to soak everything in and enjoy some relaxed portraits together. The couple also took the opportunity to read personal vows to one another before the ceremony. It was an intimate and heartfelt exchange that perfectly reflected their relationship and the journey that had shared. It was such an honour to witness.

The ceremony took place in The Glasshouse, one of my favourite wedding spaces in Kent. Filled with natural light and surrounded by the beauty of The Secret Garden, it provides a stunning setting for couples looking for a unique and relaxed wedding venue.
As Kirstin and Jamie exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends, it was impossible not to feel the love in the room. There was such warmth and support from everyone present, making the ceremony feel incredibly personal and meaningful.

One of the things I love most about photographing weddings at The Secret Garden is the variety of beautiful locations available throughout the grounds. From secluded garden pathways to open spaces filled with natural beauty, there are endless opportunities for relaxed and natural wedding photography.
Having already enjoyed some portraits before the ceremony, Kirstin and Jamie were able to fully relax and enjoy the rest of their day while still making the most of the venue’s stunning surroundings.

The emotions continued well into the reception, where family and friends shared heartfelt speeches celebrating Kirstin and Jamie’s relationship. There were plenty of tears, laughter and unforgettable stories from the past ten years.
With guests gathered from six different countries, the atmosphere throughout the day was incredibly special. It felt less like a single event and more like a reunion of loved ones who had come together to celebrate two people who mean so much to them.
