If you are looking for a Kent Wedding Venue with charm, history, privacy, rustic elegance and character, The Oak Barn has it all.

Nestled in a stunning valley in Benenden, as you travel down the driveway and the Barn comes into view, the meticulous standard of finish and attention to detail of the renovation of this Grade II listed threshing barn is visible instantly. This stunning rustic venue offers a choice of ceremony space, exclusive use, on site accommodation and the high tech comfort of a modern wedding venue but with a warmth and homely feeling only a barn venue can give you.

The Barn is fully licensed for civil ceremonies but is also the perfect space for your elegant evening wedding reception seating up to 135 guests for a wedding breakfast. With exposed beams and high vaulted roof you might think it would be dark inside as with many barn venues but the thoughtful renovation included floor to ceiling glass on one side, flooding the whole room with light. It also benefits from underfloor heating and a wood burning stove so is great choice for both a summer wedding and winter wedding.

Standing opposite the courtyard are Weavers Cottages offering stunning, luxury accommodation. The refurbished Kentish weavering house has been converted in to four two-bedroomed cottages and a one-bedroom cottage, with space for eighteen guests. The same impeccable standard of finish of the Barn conversion is visible here too.

In contrast to the exposed beams, textures and age of the Oak Barn, your other option for your Wedding ceremony and reception is The Byre. The light in here is a photographers dream. It oozes class and modern, simple elegance. Glass doors along the whole wall take you out onto a terrace surrounded by views of the estate. It is a blank canvas venue to create a unique, intimate and memorable wedding day.

It was the vision of Sam of Flutterbeemee Events and Kerry from Kerry-Ann Wells Make up artist and brought together a fantastic team of wedding suppliers to really showcase this stunning Kent Venue.
