Kate & Mark’s Bridal Suite Couples Shoot
As soon as I confirmed I was working with Kate and Mark I knew exactly how I wanted to style this shoot. I had every shot in my head. I wanted a close, cosy couple with kisses and smouldering looks and I just knew this gorgeous pair would deliver in spades. The venue......well I wanted it in a bedroom! As a lifestyle photographer, I LOVE natural light, something that not all bedrooms are blessed with. The room I had in mind, however, has tonnes of natural light courtesy of not one but two huge, traditional windows. The Bridal Suite at The Bull Hotel, Wrotham is the best room of this gorgeously styled 14th Century Inn and I know this because it's where I got married in 2016! The floorboards, uneven beams, rustic fireplace and calming decor make it the ideal place to put on your wedding dress, to spend your wedding night and just as I imagined....for an intimate couples shoot.
I think Kate and Mark are the most beautiful couple I have ever met. Of course I mean inside and out but I'm talking perfect complexion, features to die for, great bodies and Kates tattoos....well they are just awesome. Their personalities are as unique as their look. If I tell you that their cats are called Lord Starfox and HRH Prince Batmaus of Gatodouro and their dog is called Mr Pomtastic, I think you will probably understand why I had such a great afternoon with these two!
I am not a bossy person and I try to give as little direction as I can as I believe it creates more authentic images. What I witnessed were genuine, touching moments between the two of them and I can say, without doubt, this was one of my favourite shoots.
My thanks go to Leighanne and The Bull Hotel, Wrotham for being great hosts and of course to Kate and Mark. Love you guys x #CoupleGoals
