This is going to be your best day and I am going to get the honour of sharing it with you.

So I want to get to know you better, to really get a feel for who and what is important to you both. To get the relaxed, natural wedding photography that I love means that you have to feel comfortable with me around so I will spend time with you to make sure that happens.

I want to feel like a familiar face on the wedding day. It’s one of the reasons that an engagement shoot is included in both my full day packages. It’s a great way to get get to know you better and helps break down any barrier between you and the camera.

Got some questions?

Where are you based?

I live in a village called Borough Green, near Sevenoaks in Kent. But if you are not local, don’t let that stop you making an enquiry. I’m happy to travel and LOVE shooting at new venues.

How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as relaxed and natural. I love documentary photography, which is unposed, natural light and of real moments. I like telling a story exactly how it is. That said, I like getting creative within a location, looking for good spots and great light for lovely portraits. I love finding interesting compositions too.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

What equipment do you shoot with?

I shoot with Canon. I have 5D Mark iv and a number of canon, sigma and Tamron lenses, back up camera and flash equipment.

Is travel included?

For full day packages, yes. I will only add costs incurred if I have to stay overnight and will aim to keep those to a minimum. Get in touch and let me know where you have in mind and I will let you know.

How much deposit do we need to pay?

My deposit is £300. Your date is secured when the deposit is paid and my contract is signed.

Do we need to feed you?

Yes please. It can be a long day and I already have enough to carry without a lunch box too. A hot meal and a drink when your guests are eating would be great. I don’t shoot then anyway as no one likes to be photographed when they are eating!

Do you shoot in black and white as well as colour?

The majority of my work is in colour but I do also convert some images to black and white. It can lend itself perfectly to the documentary style of my work.

Can we give you a list of specific shots we want on the day?

A month or so before the big day I will send you a questionnaire and I will ask you for specific shots. I advise no more than 5-7 group shots. They take longer than you think to set up and I’m sure you and your guests would rather be enjoying themselves than being lined up by me.

How long after the wedding will I get my photographs?

I quote 6 weeks but always aim to deliver in a shorter time than that. I LOVE editing and am always keen to finish a gallery.

Your wedding day is exciting but I’d also love to be there with you to capture other important events in your life. I love to take beautiful documentary portraits of families and friends enjoying special moments together.
