Best of 2019
So …. here it is. My 2019 wedding season in my favourite 100 pictures.
If I had to sum up my feelings in one word, I would have to choose ‘grateful’. I honestly cannot think of a better job than being able to surround myself with relaxed, joy-filled and loved-up couples on the one day of their life they are most content. I really do feel so lucky to call this my job.
I look at these images and see happy, smiling, relaxed couples on their special day. This year has seen weddings in boutique hotels, a castle, a tipi, a barn, tearooms, marquees, country houses, village halls, churches and even historic gardens; each and every one of these has been a pleasure to be a part of.
As an industry we use the term ‘ideal client’ to describe the type of couples we want to work with: who appreciate our work and who represent us as a business. Attracting those people doesn’t happen by accident and I am so grateful that I have achieved this very thing because for me it’s not about the size of the wedding, how much it cost or how many guests you have – it’s about the love shared amongst the people you surround yourself with. I can feel it when I’m there and it fills me to the brim with warmth and happiness..
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my couples. Thank you for trusting me to capture the memories of your special day. Thank you too to all the awesome wedding suppliers I have worked with too.
And to my 2020 clients, I cannot wait! I have some awesome venues and gorgeous couples lined up. 2019 is going to take some beating but I know we are going to have a great time trying xx
